FLOUR TORTILLA


FLOUR TORTILLA 

rediIngredients:
▫️2 cups of flour
▫️1 teaspoon salt
▫️1 teaspoon baking powder
▫️1 teaspoon of butter
▫️1/2 cups of water

:Preparation:
1. Mix the salt, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Incorporate butter until mixture forms a kind of crumbs.
2. Add the water and mix until the dough starts to form.
If necessary, add more water (1 teaspoon at a time) until dough forms.
3. Cover with a clean wet rag and let sit for 15 minutes.
Split the dough into 12 balls. Spread the balls with a roller on a slightly floured surface.
Form tortillas approximately 18cm in diameter.
4. Cook on a comal without oiling until some brown spots appear.
Keep tortillas covered and warm with a clean towel until serving.
