TOASTED CAKES

Cake baked with a sandwich toaster

Instead of buying biscuits daily, you can use this.

Depending on the size of your toaster, you can get 14 -16 pieces from this recipe

You can also tweak it to add, strawberry, bananas, etc

RECIPE

Flour - 1cup

Butter - ½ cup or vegetable oil

Sugar ½ cup ( you can adjust the quantity if you like sugar or switch with any natural sweetener of your choice )

Egg - 2

Milk or water 30ml - warm water

Nutmeg/cinnamon powder

Flavour of choice

Baking powder 1tbsp

PROCEDURE

Cream butter/ Oil and sugar till fluffy

Add egg one at a time and mix well

Add flavour sift in flour,baking powder and nutmeg or cinnamon

Grease your sandwich toaster with oil or butter and preheat for 2 to 3mins

Scoop in the batter and leave for 3mins to cook

Or till tooth pick inserted comes out clean

NOTE:

Your batter should not be thick

Make it a bit lighter

Repeat process until all batter is cooked.
